What is a solar air heater?

A solar air heater is a solar panel built to use the sun's heat to raise the temperature of the air inside of the house. Inside of the panel are tubes designed to absorb the sun's energy. In response, they heat up and the air inside the home is circulated through the system. To ensure maximum air flow, fans are installed with small PV solar panels attatched to the air heater.


What are the advantages of a solar air heater?

Solar air heaters are quick and easy to install. Although high in technology, they are low in maintainance. They are not connected to the home's electricity and thus, run independently. Heaters do not need be placed on the roof, so they can be placed anywhere in the south direction. The panels themselves are attractive and can be blended nicely in with the style of any home. These panels will significantly lower the energy consumed per house and the amount of money spent per month.
