G.E.T on Campus

Current Chapters:

WESTERN ILLINOIS UNIVERSITY

Green Energy Team started at Western and is currently working with the student body to expand our passion about recycling and bringing energy solutions to American families. At Green Energy Team we have started a recycling program, free of charge to its participants, with all proceeds from the program going into building and donating energy solutions. We currently have over 40 collection units at various Fraternities, Sororities, private houses, dorms, and apartments in the area. Our plan at Western is to implement our recycling all over the campus and throughout the Macomb community within the year.

UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS

Due to the growing interest in our program we have expanded our operation to Champaign/Urbana. We are diligently working with the Greek system at the University of Illinois to grow our recycling program. Green Energy Team would like to work with the off campus housing, local businesses, and anyone willing to participate in our FREE recycling program. If you would like to get involved in this program contact David Kirmse at (847)721-7689. He can answer your questions and provide you with the information you need to recieve one of our free collection units. Contact David to begin recycling today.

University Campus Chapters:

The Green Energy Team’s campus chapter program, is a unique way for university students to become directly involved with G.E.T. Campus chapters are comprised of highly motivated individuals dedicated to spreading the word about the Green energy team’s goals. The most important role of the campus chapter is to initiate and maintain a division of G.E.T’s non-profit recycling program. In addition, campus chapters host fundraisers and maintain direct contact with our parent organization. To find out how you can start a chapter at your university, contact Andrew Hardecopf.
